Pinguicula potosiensis is a is a perennial heterophyllous species. P. potosiensis site is located near Aguacatal in San Luis Potosí, Mex at an altitude of 2117 m above sea level. During summer, carnivorous leaves are produced as well as flowering, in winter non carnivorous leaves (small succulent rosette) are produced.

The plants are shipped bare root in a plastic container to protect them. We ship the plants on Monday and Wednesday to avoid the weekend cut off.

Butterworts have been growing under LED lights with temperatures of 75~80 during the day and 55~70 at night.
